Private Patient Physicals and Preventative Medicine
We specialize in patients who are interested in early diagnosis of medical problems and active preventive techniques such as exercise, diet, and other lifestyle changes.
If you are uninsured, your physical can be tailored to your budget. Please call with any questions or details that you would like to discuss.
Aviation Medical Consultation
Dr. Harris is a Senior FAA certified HIMS examiner.
Those with a diagnosis of drug or alcohol abuse, history of drug/alcohol related offenses, mental illness, or are on a disqualifying medication are encouraged to do a consultation before applying for their medical certificate.
Pilots with medical issues outside of the mentioned above are all welcome to call for consultations regarding the medical certification process.
Alcohol and Drug Testing
Alcohol and drug testing that meet NIDA and DOT requirements are available. Customized programs can be designed for both random testing as well as "reasonable cause."
Vaccines
Most required vaccinations for immigration physical examinations or private physical examinations can be provided at the time of your visit.

OUR DOCTOR
John C. Harris, M.D.
Physician
Dr. Harris received his medical degree from
the University of Maryland and underwent
post-graduate training at Duke University.
He did residencies at Maryland and University of Colorado. After his training, Dr. Harris worked as an Occupational Medicine Specialist for CDC (Centers for Disease Control) in Atlanta. In 1980, he moved to Colorado and worked as the Director of Occupational Medicine at Denver Clinic before started his own practice. He has done specialty trainings in Preventive Medicine, Aviation Medicals and Immigration Physical Examinations. His current practice has grown and continued to be located at its original site for over 35 years. ​
